So we’re back at another Funnel Fix Friday episode, and the problem that we’re here to help you with is that funnels can be hard and fixing them can be even harder in your online course business. So we want to help you do that by reviewing funnels on this channel. Today is part two, where we review Karen Carr’s funnel, the second half of it, the bottom half of it, and her funnel takes every dollar she puts in and converts it to $11. It’s quite a good funnel. So part two of Karen Carr’s funnel review and, by the way, she’s a realtor and coach, a national speaker, a best-selling author and a successful YouTuber and her webinar her funnel, if you will it’s a masterclass for real estate agents that helps them crack the YouTube code, helping them get more clients in less time with zero cost, marketing. And she’s very good at what she does, having been a realtor herself and grown quite a big real estate practice. So lots of homes via YouTube, having clients and customers come to her.

Last week episode 732, we looked at her landing page, her automated evergreen webinar times, and I took you through the process of analyzing her landing page and why it works so well, so that you can learn how to make your landing page convert better. Also, we covered her evergreen webinar times and the reasoning that we used to decide which times to get rid of. That way her conversions could further increase. And we also looked at her webinar. Used chat GPT on the fly to crunch some numbers and make a good decision. And now in this episode we are going to cover her earnings per lead, what that means to you and why your earnings per lead is important. Look at her checkout page, her order bump. Her order bump and her checkout page convert really, really, really well. You can learn a lot from what you’re about to see, and we’re going to look at her upsell and I’ll give you some takeaways. So her earnings per lead is actually $106. Now, that’s way more than her cost per lead. Why does earnings per lead, also known as EPL, matters? Because in your funnel, you want to know how much your cost per lead is. I’m talking about a paid traffic funnel, facebook ads right, I’m a Facebook ads manager. You want to know how much your cost per lead is, how much it costs you to acquire a lead, and then, hopefully, if everything is going right, your earnings per lead is far greater than your cost per lead. That way, you know for every lead you pay for, you’re actually making so much money For Karen. For every lead she pays for, she’s making $106. At least at the time this video is being recorded.

The link is in the description below. Take a look at this checkout page. I like how, right there it says boom. At the top I’m seeing black and blue words join and then in blue the name of her course, video Boss Agent Academy, and then in black, and never cold call again. That is so powerful. She has a graphic that has tablet phone, some PDFs it’s like a mock-up of her course a laptop. The laptop says it’s all about her course. Under that in blue, it says just to recap, here’s what you get today when you enroll.

I won’t read everything, but here’s part of what she has written the foundation you need to completely transform your business with YouTube. Awesome how to attract your ideal clients and the biggest secrets in reaching them. The importance of identifying a niche you love. Nitty gritty details of setting your YouTube channel up or success. Scrolling down her exact scripting formula and then it says the most important metrics to determine your video’s performance. I’ve scrolled down the feature list and her writing just makes it really good. She’s listing it in a way that makes it enticing and she has a seven-day 100% money-back guarantee.

This is her checkout page. It’s divided into two halves the left and the right-hand side. Is that halves or halves. On the right-hand side, contact information, payment options, and here’s where we get to. On Little Stat, karen Funnell, her checkout page has 60% of the people who purchase her Video Boss Agent Academy also get her order bump. I’m going to show you and tell you what her order bump is. But, for context, if you’re getting 20% to 30% of the people who purchase your main offer to get your order bump, that’s good. Her numbers are just absolutely crushing. It Coming up after we talk about this order bump, we’re going to go to her upsell page and those numbers are even better, my gosh. Looking at her order bump, let’s see how well it aligns with her core offer. Her core offer is Video Boss Agent Academy. That’s where you never have cold call again If you join and you learn how to work YouTube and get clients coming to you on automatic.

Let’s zoom in on her order bump. The one thing is it’s a little hard for me to read because the order bump background is blue and the text is darker blue. But it says at the top of the order bump, which is just under the credit card payment section, in white it says add the digital planner to your order for only $15. Then in blue it says what the digital planner is. Our digital planner will keep your video content process and your entire business organized. With goal setting, content planning, dang and analysis pages, our planner will allow you to get more done in less time. There it is Save time. Saving time is always valuable. You can finally stop working 70-hour weeks and get your life back. This is a digital download for use on the iPad and it says there’s no refunds due to the non-returnable nature of the product once they’re downloaded.

I just want to hone in on language here. Stop working 70-hour weeks and get your life back. Get more done in less time. The key thing that she’s selling here is time time back. So a busy real estate agent who wants clients to come on automatic and also is doing all the things like cold calling and door knocking and all these flyers they need their time back. Her digital planner clearly is aligned with that and that’s why her numbers are so good. So at the bottom of the digital planner, still on the blue area, it says $15. There is like a faded out $27 with a strike through through it. So another thing going on here is you can see the original price, $27. And so 27 minus 15, that’s like a savings of $12, I believe, minus 15, calculated right here. Yeah, yes, I did it in my head and an orange button that says add to order. Geez, now look at the price difference.

Her main Academy, the video boss agent Academy, is $2022, or six payments of $365. And this time saving planner is only 15. It really is a no brainer. You want to make your order bump a no brainer for the price. Also, you want your order bump to align here, and hers does. She also has a payment plan, six month payment plan of $365. So let’s do some math 365 times six is $2190. So if you get full pay, if you buy the video boss agent Academy full pay, it’s $2022. So it’s $168 more.

Normally, if you want to do a payment plan, you can charge somewhere between like seven up to 15% premium on top of your pay in full. Now why would you do that? First of all, you have to be okay with doing that. Second of all, your business takes on more risk if you’re collecting payments, inevitably a percentage of those payments will fail and it’s just more risk for your business. So, in general, you want to bake in some of that risk to a higher payment price. So 365,. Let’s see how. What percentage higher hers is 8% higher. That’s actually really, really, really fair.

Oh, and one more thing I want to comment on her page visually is when I scroll down, the call to action buttons are quite clear. They’re yellow, they match her brand, and on the order bump there’s an orange button and then the order now button that says place order now. That also is orange. So you too should follow like these best practices. Her checkout page is so clear. So let’s look at her upsell page. Shall we? Because her upsell page converts. Well, let’s say, like this, 40% of the people who purchase her main offer also get the upsell no-transcript. That’s huge. Usually you can expect like 5 to 10% of people who purchase your core offer to buy your upsell. So let’s take a look at what this upsell is. So it’s on screen. Come over to the YouTube channel if you want to see this at the Well, it’s a big picture. It’s a picture I see of her in the beginning and then at the top it says this is the complete strategy you can use to attract clients moving to your area who are ready and need to buy soon. Oh, pretty cool, pretty cool. If you’re not sure what an upsell is in general, you have a checkout page right. That’s where somebody can see the final bits of your offer and then purchase it. Once they submit to purchase it on the next page they can usually get something like a one-time offer, special discount on something else or even another product that is further aligned with their purchase and helps them get a result even sooner or easier. So here she says it’s the complete strategy you can use to attract moving clients to your area who are ready and need to buy soon.

She introduces herself. I am Karen. I built a multiple six-figure business using this exact automated marketing system. All right, I want it. I’m not even a realtor and I want it With this easy to follow blueprint, okay. And then there’s a nice blue portion like strip. It has like an inverted pyramid. The top of the pyramid, which is wider than the bottom, says qualified leads. It’s a funnel, and then landing page is the next layer below that, and then follow up is the next layer below that, and then conversion is the next layer below that, and then sale Okay, I like this cool design.

To the right of that image. It says the automated system for inbound real buyers real estate buyers I’m assuming she’s speaking jargon that real estate people understand will help you offer something extremely valuable to your prospects, get it in their hands instantly, with no additional involvement from you. Nice, all without you having to be glued to your phone. So it’ll help you offer something extremely valuable to your prospects, all this value, and you don’t have to be glued to your phone. 24, seven. Again, it looks like she’s offering something that helps you save time.

And then we go down to the next section, which is white. So we’ve started off with a white section and a picture of her than a blue section and now another white section and the header here says in only a few hours, you could have this system up and running. Wow Jeez, so more time savings. Once it’s in place and you are sending traffic to a landing page organic or paid traffic, it’s your call. It will work on autopilot, bringing you motivated clients who need your service. And then in blue it says create a system for getting inbound leads that run on autopilot, no matter what kind of market we’re in or what interest rates are doing. So let’s stop here.

She’s speaking in a very timely, context, sensitive manner. If you’re in the US of a right now, you know that interest rates are super high and real estate agents just don’t know what the market is doing. So it’s inflation going up? Is it coming down? We just get so much different info, so she focuses on that to show that she’s relevant.

She then has a feature list saying what you’ll learn from this offer. So let’s see it says exactly you’ll learn exactly what to offer your prospects. That’s so irresistible they will be dying to give you their contact info. She says you’ll learn copy and paste email and text messages for the follow up sequences, how to design the website landing page for maximum leads, complete with templates to duplicate. Hmm, okay. And then she has an orange section that says what’s included and it has a list of all the features step by step instructions for setting up a landing page, step by step instructions for creating the email drip campaigns, templates for creating the relocation guide as easily and as quickly as possible. And then, in a new section that’s white, she says it’s for a one time investment of $197.

Let me explain something here. If you have an order bump on the checkout page, that’s like pretty low cost. Once somebody has made the purchase of your core offer, her core offers like $2200. The upsell on the next page, that can be more expensive. If you look at like $197, let’s just call it $200. So $200 divided by 2000. That’s like a tenth of the price. There’s some psychology working there in her benefit and it can work for you too, which is if a customer just paid $2,000 with you and then you have something as valuable as this for 200, they’re like I just paid 2,000, this isn’t that much.

She goes on to say that it has written instructions, video walkthroughs, shareable templates and it’s called the Six Figure Sales Funnel Complete System. Now, interestingly enough, I did not know what I was reading about until I got down here Six Figure Sales Funnel Complete System and this is like at the bottom of the page and it’s converting 40%. I wonder, as I’m scrolling back to the top of the page now, what would happen if she had like the name of it up here, because as I was reading I just wasn’t sure what we were gonna purchase. I guess in the first top section it did say this is the complete strategy you can use to attract clients moving to your area who are ready and need to buy soon. So she has like the value proposition up there. I think I would have benefited from seeing the title.

So let’s go down here back to the bottom, now that I know it’s called the Six Figure Sales Funnel Complete System, and then under that is another checkout and contact payment methods and then place order. Now interesting. So her customer to this page has to re-enter. It looks like you know I’m on like a preview screen. I’m going to ask her if they have to re-enter their contact info because normally you would just want like a one click buy because they already entered their contact info on your checkout. So if you just click one more time, you can just add it to your order and then finish up. But this looks like it’s an entirely different page. Either way, the stats are the stats. 40% of the people that by her core offer also get this upsell. So that is really good.

Okay, let’s not play the comparison game, though. Just want to say that for you. And what do I mean by that? I mean, first of all, she’s been in business quite a while. Second of all, comparing your own stats to another course creator and coach’s stats. Do you know good if there’s a better than yours? Because our minds so quickly just jump into that negative feedback loop. And next thing, you know we’re kind of unmotivated to do the things that we know we should be doing in our business anyway. So I just want to encourage you don’t compare.

Figure out how you can make the next incremental improvement on your data. That’s where this game is played and won. It’s just you versus your mind.
